ON THE ORIGINAL CAROSELLO

The original Carosello aired on Italian state television for twenty years — every night at 20:50, for ten minutes. Twenty million people watched advertising framed as entertainment: sketches, animation, micro-cinema from directors who would go on to win Oscars. When it ended, Italians still said goodnight to their children with “dopo Carosello, a letto.” After Carosello, to bed. We're bringing the format back — global, daily, and curated by people who still believe an ad can be a small film.
